Holy Smokes. My manager just informed me that she and my other soon-to-be-ex-coworkers will not be coming in to work on Friday, due to the holiday.

Ok, in the beta right now.
First thing I did was check to see if CSS3 works.
It doesn’t.
They blatantly state that CSS3 is supported. So far I know transitions and 3d animations don’t work. Seems to fuck up pages right good.
Also, tumblr changed its look in the time it took me to restart my computer, so that was quite a shock.
Gonna give the IE 9 beta a try.
According to the website, web standards are actually a focus. Like, they actually realized, for the first time, that there are web standards and that, maybe, their web browser should adhere to them.
Future web developers are going to be so spoiled, being able to use just one tag for videos and other such things.
Gaah. Manager came in my office again today. They really don’t want me to leave. They offered to match the pay at my new place and mention profit sharing for later.
For anyone who has not heard of this place, turning this offer down might seem a little stupid. For those who have, you can totally understand why I said no.

Well, my resignation went over surprisingly well. My manager took it like no big deal. She did ask where I was going and if there was anything they could do to keep me. I politely declined, and she was ok with it.
Today, they gave everyone christmas presents: a fleece with our company logo on it and a $25 Applebees gift card. Score! I felt kinda bad for accepting it, but I took it anyway.
